As a client, your name, email, address and credit card information are collected for purposes of operating First Step Nutrition services.
Your name and email address are collected via opt-in forms you complete on my website or the checkout cart when you make a purchase. They are used to communicate regular newsletter information, including nutrition blogs, recipes and sales promotions. You can unsubscribe to newsletters at any time, via the link at the bottom of each newsletter.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We collect information about visitors who comment on our website, using Akismet Anti-spam service. The information we collect includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as your name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
We collect financial information only to process payment for services. We collect cookies data to help you remember passwords for e-courses and more targeted marketing on Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram.
Purchases are processed via a trusted third party, Stripe. First Step Nutrition will not have access to your address or credit card information submitted through Stripe.
If you are visiting from outside North America, be aware that you are sending personal information to the United States (where our servers are located) and Canada (where our business is located). These countries may not have privacy regulations as strict as your country. However, all services I use to manage and store your information do claim to be GDPR compliant.
