Homemade Chocolates

If you’re a dark chocolate fan like me, you’ll love these homemade chocolates. Filled with tasty, nutritiousĀ ingredients – try to eat just one šŸ˜‰

1/2 cup whole almonds

1 cup coconut oil

1 cup ground nuts (I used almond flour)

1/2 cup nut butter

1/2 cup cocoa

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup chopped fruit (i.e. raisins or apricots)

3 Tbsp sunflower or pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup shredded coconut

2 Tbsp maple syrup

2 Tbsp molasses

  1. Melt the coconut oil in a pot on the stove over medium heat. Add all other ingredients (except the almonds) to the pot, and mix to combine.
  2. Meanwhile, add 1-2 almonds to the bottom of an ice cube or chocolate mould tray.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the ice cube tray or moulds.
  4. Cover moulds with saran, and stick in the freezer until solid.
